Challenge

The main challenge was designing signage that improved safety and orientation without visually disrupting the forest. The system needed to be durable, readable, accessible, and environmentally conscious while clearly communicating rules, conservation goals, and visitor etiquette.

THOMPSON WOODS PRESERVE IS A NATURE-FOCUSED PROJECT WHERE I DESIGNED A SIGNAGE AND WAYFINDING SYSTEM.

The work helps visitors navigate the site while supporting environmental stewardship — a calm, educational, and respectful experience in a preserved landscape.
